Leading to Choices: A Leadership Training Handbook for Women
The Women's Learning Partnership (WLP) announce a Hausa Edition of their leadership handbook.
WLP recently published the Hausa edition (Jagoranci Zuwa Zabi) of WLP's leadership training manual Leading to Choices: A Leadership Training Handbook for Women for use in Nigeria and other areas of East Africa.
The manual was translated, adapted, and tested by WLP's partner in Nigeria, BAOBAB for Women's Human Rights, in a series of training workshops that focused on conflict prevention, consensus building, and inter-communal cooperation.
Culture-specific additions of the manual are also available in nine other languages: Maghreby-Arabic, Shamy-Arabic, Assamese, English, French, Persian, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, and Uzbek. The Leading to Choices curriculum has been used in leadership training workshops with over 3,000 women throughout Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
